About

I am an artist who finds immense joy in the creation of exquisite figurative sculptures and vibrant, eye-catching painting

I was born in a grey northern town called Scunthorpe in the UK. At the age of 14, I discovered my passion for clay, beginning a lifelong journey of crafting pieces that possess both classical beauty and tribal influences, while simultaneously celebrating the modern sense of fun and levity.

I went to a Dickensian boarding school, and whilst avoiding being caned, I honed my artistic skills by sculpting, drawing and painting under two excellent professional artists. I then pursued further studies at Chelsea College of Art in London.

A significant influence on my life is my French grandmother, whose rich artistic heritage inspired me to live in Paris, draw paint and sculpt exploring the beautiful galleries of the French capital.

I've been sculpting, drawing and painting over three decades, and I hope I continue to infuse my art with vitality and vibrancy, showcasing unique ideas and perspectives. I'd like my body of work to stand for a jubilant celebration of life and beauty.
